What We Are Looking ForOur Emergency Management Department is currently seeking experienced, proactive, and adaptable Paramedics to join our expanding teams across the Central & Southern Queensland regions. Ideal applicants will have exposure to the coal mining industry and emergency response services, with proven operational experience in the Queensland Ambulance Service highly regarded. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, computer literacy, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously and in a team.

Mandatory QualificationsTo be eligible, you must hold:
  • Standard 11 Induction
  • Open Manual MR Licence or above
  • Current CPR & First Aid – HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID014, HLTAID015
  • HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Bachelor of Paramedicine
  • Current QLD Coal Board Medical
  • National Police Certificate (issued within last 12 months)
Preferred: Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue, including units such as PUAFIR207, PUAFIR210, PUAFIR316, PUAFIR324, PUASAR022, PUASAR024, PUASAR025, PUASAR032, RIIERR201E, and PUAEQU001 or PMAWHS211.

At Mining Skills Australia, evidence of the above units may also be accepted separately from the Certificate III.
