About the roleAre you ambitious, customer-focused, and ready to step into a leadership role in retail? We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Team Lead - Customer to create exceptional customer experiences in our dynamic environment.
What you'll do- Champion customer experience and product quality: Deliver high-quality service across all departments, ensuring the best quality fresh products in Grocery, Bakery, Fresh Services, Hot Food, Fruit & Veg, and Convenience.
- Cultivate a customer-first culture: Foster exceptional service, proactive engagement, and effective feedback management within departments.
- Lead Store Operations: Support store management in their absence, ensuring smooth operations and gaining hands-on management experience.
- Lead Self, Others, and Strategically: Demonstrate leadership skills, motivate others, and contribute strategically to the store's success.
- Lead and develop: Build a high-performing team, support their growth, and recognize achievements.
- Manage department operations: Delegate tasks, prioritize demands, control inventory and waste, merchandise, and ensure excellent customer and online experiences.
- Commit to ongoing learning: Stay updated on best practices in team development, communication, and strategic decision-making.
