Human Resource Advisor – AAAK Transport

Location: Lansdowne, NSW 2163

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AUD $75,000 – $85,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

About AAAK Transport: AAAK Transport is a leading provider of haulage, earthmoving, and logistics services across New South Wales. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Advisor to support all aspects of our HR function, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. This role is key in driving positive workplace culture, supporting managers with day-to-day HR matters, and ensuring our growing workforce is engaged and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of new staff

  • Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, and industrial relations matters

  • Maintain employee records and assist with contracts, performance appraisals, and compliance documentation

  • Support training, development, and WHS initiatives

  • Handle day-to-day employee queries and escalate issues when necessary

  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with Fair Work and relevant legislation

  • Assist in workforce planning and reporting to support business growth

  • Liaise with payroll and admin teams to ensure employee data is accurate and up to date

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR advisory or generalist role

  • Solid understanding of Australian workplace laws and HR best practices

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously and support multiple departments

Desirable:

  • Experience in transport, construction, or field-based industries

  • Familiarity with HRIS or workforce management systems
