About your new role: Head of Growth and Relationships

This is a newly created senior leadership role that will drive Brighter Super's growth engine through a people-first, advice-led sales strategy. As part of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Chief Member Officer, you will lead a large team, including four direct reports, and oversee commercial and engagement strategies across employers, partners, SMEs, and regional markets.

With a strong focus on retention, acquisition, and meaningful member engagement, this role is key to executing Brighter Super's "boots on the ground" boutique at scale philosophy – bringing the value of advice to life at every member touchpoint and market interaction. You will shape, scale, and deliver commercial outcomes through an aligned sales and engagement strategy that integrates with Advice, Digital, and Marketing functions.

In this role, you will:

• Build and scale a high-performing growth function under Brighter Super's boutique-at-scale model
• Lead sales strategy across employer, SME, partner, and regional markets
• Deliver outbound engagement programs aligned to modular/general advice frameworks
• Present and represent Brighter Super at key member and partner events
• Strengthen commercial collaboration across internal teams and external partners
• Own retention and acquisition metrics and contribute to Queensland growth strategy

About you

You're an energetic, strategic, and commercially astute leader who thrives on performance, purpose, and people. You have experience leading growth or distribution teams in a fast-paced environment and know how to deliver outcomes through aligned campaigns, enterprise thinking, and team engagement.
You will bring:

• A strong understanding of superannuation and advice-led engagement (including confidence presenting at events)
• Proven experience in senior growth, distribution or commercial leadership roles
• Demonstrated success leading acquisition and retention strategies across multiple channels
• Experience with general/modular advice models and how they integrate into member touchpoints
• Leadership presence with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A hands-on, performance-driven leadership style that fosters team engagement and drives commercial results
• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or related field is favourable (RG146 compliance required)
