Are you an experienced trainer ready to inspire the next generation? We're looking for passionate educators to deliver the 22614VIC - Certificate II in Building and Construction (Pre-apprenticeship – Carpentry) to senior secondary students (Years 10–12) across a network of partner schools in Melbourne's south-east and beyond.

This is more than just teaching, it's about building confidence, trade skills and life-readiness in young people at a pivotal time in their lives.

What you'll do

  • Deliver practical, hands-on carpentry training aligned to the 22614VIC Certificate II program
  • Work with students in Years 10–12 enrolled in VETDSS, VCE Vocational Major, or VPC programs
  • Foster safe, engaging, real-world learning environments — in classrooms and workshops
  • Travel between a small group of schools
  • Collaborate with a supportive, passionate training team

What you'll bring

Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building & ConstructionCertificate IV in Training & Assessment or nearing completion (TAE)Experience teaching in VET, TAFE, or senior secondary settings (preferred)Strong communication, engagement and behaviour management skillsA genuine passion for helping young people succeed in life and workWorking with Children Check
