About the role

Adelaide Airport is seeking a dedicated Purchasing and Administration Officer to join the Technology & Innovation team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to become part of a highly respected organisation that values integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What you will do

• Provide administrative support across procurement, travel, events, and office operations to ensure these functions run efficiently.
• Raise and process purchase requisitions accurately while ensuring full compliance with established company policies and procedures.
• Verify invoices promptly and manage goods receipting to guarantee timely processing of financial transactions.
• Assist in setting up new suppliers within the finance system and maintain accurate records of third-party suppliers managed via contracts or legal instruments.
• Support travel planning by booking flights, accommodation, events, transportation, and managing related logistics for the team.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors by coordinating inductions, documentation, exit sessions, and compliance requirements.
• Provide high-level administrative support to senior management, the Executive Assistant and Contracts Specialist, and the Head of Technology and Cyber Security, including credit card transaction processing, policy review planning, audit tracking, meeting preparation (agendas/minutes), and event organisation.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and records.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport with colleagues across departments as well as external partners or vendors.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and respectful engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort with learning new business productivity tools or technologies quickly as processes evolve.
• A strong sense of accountability and pride in contributing positively toward shared team goals.
