Job Description

Global Vision Recruitment, on behalf of Techno Services Pty Ltd, is looking for a Computer Network and System Engineer in Gold Coast, Queensland.

Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 plus 12% Superannuation

Mode: Full-time

Hours: 38 per week

Experience required: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Techno Services Pty Ltd is a fast-growing IT and Telecommunication solutions provider across Australia, specializing in wireless installation, design, LOS surveys, network infrastructure, and a broad range of IT services including CRM, ERP, and application development.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will ensure the seamless operation of IT infrastructure, supporting internal systems and business applications, including ERP/CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, and maintain network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN performance and internet connectivity.
  • Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms.
  • Perform system maintenance including backups, updates, and hardware diagnostics.
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Administer user accounts, system access, and endpoint security.
  • Support ERP and CRM applications, resolving user issues and assisting with updates.
  • Document infrastructure, network topology, and operational procedures.
  • Manage IT asset inventory and participate in onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Implement security best practices and monitor vulnerabilities.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for issue resolution.
  • Collaborate on infrastructure upgrades and project support.
  • Provide training and guidance to users and junior staff.
  • Monitor system logs, network traffic, and hardware performance to ensure stability.
Skills and Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in IT support, networking, or systems administration.
  • Practical experience with business applications like ERP or CRM.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk systems and documentation best practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA Network+/Security+ are highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
