The Opportunity -

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Training Scheduler Lead to join the P-8A Poseidon Training team. In this role, you will program and coordinate all training activities for the P-8A Poseidon at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

As a Training Scheduler Lead within BDA, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling and coordinating tasks related to Fight Crew, Mission Crew, and Maintenance training.
  • Supporting the delivery of the training continuum, including synthetic training device bookings.
  • Programming planned simulation device upgrades and asset allocation to meet training schedules.
  • Conducting system health and utilization analysis, and generating reports to support performance measurement.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in resource and asset scheduling and coordination.
  • Experience working in Defence operational flying squadrons or similar environments, including the use of flight programming tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Configuration and data management experience.
  • An understanding of Defence Training requirements.
