Brisbane Private Hospital is looking to employ part-time Food Services Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.

About the Role

Casual shifts across Monday to Sunday between hours 6:30am and 9:00pm. You will be part of a busy kitchen with a great team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food
  • Conveying and preparing special dietary requirements for patients
  • Delivering excellent customer service to patients, clients and staff
  • Demonstrating sound time management, prioritising and delivering delegated tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintaining the kitchen to code with cleaning and up-to-date training
Essential Criteria
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hospitality environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Criteria
  • Certificate III in Safe Food Handling
  • Certificate II Health Support Services
  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
  • Previous experience in an aged care or hospital setting
