About the Role

As a PCA, you'll play a vital role in delivering person-centred care that respects and supports the dignity, independence, and unique needs of older people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide quality, person-centred care that enhances the well-being of older persons.

Support older persons with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.

Foster meaningful relationships with older persons, their families, and the team.

Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive care environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent).

A strong commitment to the welfare and dignity of older persons.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

German language skills are beneficial but not essential.

Shift Requirements:

Permanent part-time role with a minimum of 8 shifts per fortnight.

Predominantly AM and PM shifts.

Martin Luther Homes offers a unique independent living environment set at the foothills of the Dandenong Mountains. There is independent living accommodation available in units and newly built apartments with one or two bedrooms

Martin Luther Homes has 63 dwellings on the retirement village on 12 acres.

You will also have access to a Community Centre, Café, Church, landscaped gardens and walkways, and easy access to public transport.

Our not-for-profit Retirement Village offers one (1) and two (2) bedroom units and apartments with private outdoor area. All homes have their own ensuite, quality fittings, gourmet kitchen and quality living areas.

The Serviced Apartments have a living area, kitchenette, bedroom with ensuite as well as private entrance and outdoor area. Upon request meals can be supplied as well.

All residents of our Retirement Village have access to our beautiful gardens, Community Centre amenities and Welfare Officer.

We offer a comfortable lifestyle with the extra security of a 24 hour emergency call system.

There is plenty of parking available.
