Overview

Based in Melbourne's CBD, this privately-owned engineering consultancy prides themselves on their inclusive culture and progressive approach to structural engineering.

Having been established for over six years, this consultancy strives to approach every project with creativity and innovation, whilst embracing new challenges that other structural consultancies steer away from. Due to growth in the business, they are now looking for an additional Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Developing detailed designs and specifications for a range of building projects.
  • Collaborating with architects, builders, and other professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and practical, and that they meet project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Overseeing the construction process to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and that structures are built to specifications and standards.
  • Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify and address any issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
Qualifications
  • Circa 4 years + experience as a structural engineer in a consulting environment
  • A comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and standards
  • Extensive experience in the design and analysis of steel, RC concrete, PT concrete and timber
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience liaising with project stakeholders
  • A passion for sustainability

The salary on offer is commensurate with your experience, with a banding of between $100,000 and $120,000
