Responsibilities of the Site Quality Manager
  • Collaborate with the site installation team to ensure work is done safely, according to quality standards, customer requirements, schedule, and budget
  • Ensure all QA/QC inspections and testing are performed as per the Quality Plan and assist with inspections according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs); coordinate tests with specialized service providers (e.g., NDTs)
  • Conduct site audits and inspections
  • Develop and implement the site quality plan aligned with the contract and company policies; promote a commitment to quality within the site team
  • Apply knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and customer regulatory requirements
  • University degree in QA/QC and certification as per quality standards
  • Qualifications in welding inspection (e.g., AWS/ASNT certifications, CSWIP or similar)
  • Previous experience in a senior or management-level position
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, standards, and best practices; IWE qualification preferred
  • Proven experience working with QA/QC systems aligned with ISO 9001
  • Experience in hydro power plant construction projects or the oil and gas sector
