Overview

Production Operator role at CSR Limited – Somersby, New South Wales, Australia. CSR is building a better future together. Responsibilities
  • Engage the team to ensure the delivery of safe, low cost, efficient and high-quality production
  • Deliver on production KPIs
  • Ensure appropriate communication and feedback is in place, including technical review and recommendation of machine / site running conditions
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks, such as high-pressure cleaning, removal of waste material from pits, channels, and vessels
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, including shovelling, sweeping, painting and vacuuming
  • Test operation of machines periodically and fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Maintain activity logs and carry out quality inspections
About You / Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
  • Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations, including consistent utilization of protective equipment
  • Excellent physical endurance and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education background preferred
  • Capability to operate a forklift – not essential
