Overview

Location: Hughesdale.
Hours: Permanent part-time 36 hours per week.
Salary: from $64,487 (pro rata) + Superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Support quality educational programs in accordance with the National Quality Framework.
  • Contribute to the cycle of observations and planning in an education and care setting.
  • Demonstrate strong team ethics and communication skills; work with children and families to enhance their lives.
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Children's Services (minimum).
  • Current First Aid Certificates for an early years education and care setting.
  • Valid Working with Children Check and Police Check (less than six months old).
  • Ability to work a range of shifts between 6.45 am and 6.00 pm.
  • Ability to work effectively with all team members within the early years setting.
  • Previous experience in providing quality customer service.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with families and children.
  • Knowledge of the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks (VEYLDF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally sustainable environment for children.
  • Child Protection and Safeguarding Children training.
