The Opportunity

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant / Cook to join our team at Murray Vale in the Riverina Murray Region. The role requires availability on weekends and involves cooking and kitchen duties.

We aim to provide high-quality care to facility residents by maintaining excellent standards in food preparation and service.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in planning, preparing, and cooking fresh meals
  • Experience in table service and clearing duties
  • Experience in fast-paced kitchens or bulk food preparation (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance
  • Experience in Aged Care (desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team-oriented and highly motivated
  • Availability for various shifts and days
