Job Description: This role offers an interesting mix of strategy implementation and project delivery in the fields of transport and environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable transport initiatives, managing related projects, and contributing to the council's environmental goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies related to transport and environment.
- Manage and deliver specific projects aligned with sustainability objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, sustainability, urban planning, or related field.
- Experience in strategy development and project management within environmental or transport sectors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
