About The RoleAs our Senior Receptionist, you'll take the lead in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our front desk and admin functions. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive attentive, friendly, and professional service every time.
You'll also be supported by our Finance Manager, who holds a hybrid role and actively assists as a Practice Manager, providing guidance, structure, and strategic support to help you and the team thrive.
Your Responsibilities- Managing the day-to-day administration of the practice
- Supervising and supporting the admin team
- Ensuring efficient reception processes and scheduling
- Maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
- Supporting local marketing initiatives
- Contributing to system improvements and practice development
- Delivers outstanding customer service and genuinely enjoys making a client's day
- thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles pressure with grace
- Has exceptional time management and multitasking skills
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is adaptable, open to change, and always seeking improvement
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Understands the importance of professionalism and patient confidentiality
- Proven experience in a receptionist or senior admin role (healthcare preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, HICAPS, and NDIS billing
- Experience with Cliniko software (highly regarded)
- HR experience (an advantage)
