The opportunity

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers has a rare opportunity for a recent graduate in Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline to join our national Marketing and Business Development team as a Marketing Assistant in our Sydney office. We are seeking someone who can think strategically, contribute valuable ideas, and help deliver an outstanding experience to our internal and external clients, all while enjoying our collaborative and dynamic team environment.

You will also support the wider team across all facets of event management, including liaising with relevant stakeholders, recommending and selecting venues, designing invitations, managing guest lists, and overseeing the client experience at events. While event management will be a smaller portion of your overall responsibilities, it remains a key element in delivering a seamless and professional experience for our clients.

To succeed in this role
  • collaborate with lawyers and marketing team members on tenders and capability statements.
  • the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative national team
  • design documents and advertisements to support marketing initiatives
  • prepare and distribute external communications to clients and stakeholders
  • maintain the firm's website, LinkedIn, and intranet platforms
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • high attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities
