About the Opportunity

Our school invites applications from an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Design and Technology Teacher to join our innovative Technologies faculty. This is a unique opportunity to bring your passion for design, engineering, and making into a learning environment that celebrates curiosity, collaboration, and the holistic development of young women.

This role is permanent full time commencing in Term 1 2026.

• Deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across multiple stages, with preferred experience in Stage 6 Design and Technology.
• Create hands-on learning experiences that encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and real-world application.
• Apply effective teaching strategies and innovative pedagogical practice.
• A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing of young women.

The Ideal Candidate

Hold relevant education qualifications including a current NESA accreditation.Able to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical practices.Experience and interest in the use of digital technologies to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement.Be a positive and curious contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes.Display a proactive approach to professional development and a desire to contribute to the broader school community.
