Role Location: Toowoomba/Townsville/Mackay, Queensland – Flexible re working location

Your Impact

  • Share your skills and experiences with centre teams to support their teaching and learning for all children, including those with additional needs, in a manner that builds capability within our centres.
  • Provide on-demand, high-quality, consistent, and effective advice and coaching support for teaching and learning for all children.
  • Work directly with selected centres to deliver their Quality Improvement Plan actions through coaching and modelling to enhance sustainable teaching and learning capabilities.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of frameworks such as ERS, NQS, EYLF, and other approved learning frameworks, with a focus on high-priority centres identified by the State Manager.
  • Maintain current expertise and knowledge of ERS, NQF, NQS, EYLF, and relevant state learning frameworks, along with Australian Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) practices.
  • Collaborate with the broader Teaching and Learning team to identify, develop, and implement key practice uplift initiatives and strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional specialists to co-design, implement, and assess the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of national initiatives, plans, and professional development aimed at improving quality outcomes.
  • Liaise with state Practice team members for inquiries requiring support beyond virtual delivery, and manage inquiries until resolved.
  • Stay informed on Child Protection Law matters relevant to your jurisdiction and respond proactively to child protection issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Operations to support safety outcomes across the region and state.

You'll Bring To The Table

  • A 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognized university.
  • Extensive, recent practice-based early childhood teaching experience (aged birth to 8 years).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other state-approved learning guidelines, and the National Quality Standard.
  • Understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, evaluation, and team leadership skills.
