Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist, Nurse or Rehab Counsellor. This role is remote but will travel around the North/Northwest region to support clients (fuel allowance included). Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements with autonomy to set your day to best suit you and your clients.
Job Description
This full-time or part-time opportunity involves delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and allied health background, you will assist injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and in the community, improving wellbeing and purpose in life.
Responsibilities
- Workplace rehabilitation services in line with scope of practice, including:
- Initial Needs Assessments
- Workplace Assessments
- Advice concerning job modifications
- Rehabilitation Counselling / Vocational Assessments
- ADL assessments
- Medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison and case management services
- Support needs assessments
Qualifications
- Full registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
- Current Australian driver's license and vehicle with full comprehensive insurance; willingness to travel around North/Northwest region
- Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives in tangible ways
- Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
