What you'll be doing:
The Nurse Manager at the WSLHD Diabetes and Endocrine Centre leads and coordinates patient care, ensuring quality service delivery and system improvements.
- Leading and managing staff development, training, and performance reviews.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for service delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure adaptable services for clinical needs.
- Managing budgets, staffing, and the booking system efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with health standards and promoting patient safety.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current Registered Nurse division 1 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated well-developed leadership skills and highly developed communication skills including the ability to manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise.
- Recent management experience with skill in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake planning for and monitor performance in areas of responsibility for both individuals and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and guide others through change processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify the need for and initiate the development of policy relating to the nursing service.
- Proficiency in the use of Information Technology (IT) systems including Cerner and Microsoft applications that support the role.
