Senior Tekla Draftsperson

We are seeking an experienced structural steel modeller with strong Tekla Structures expertise to join our team of motivated and supportive professionals. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent working conditions and the potential for regular overtime.

In this role, you'll work across a diverse range of major mining, commercial, and infrastructure projects, contributing to a business that takes pride in delivering high-quality fabrication models and detailed drawings to the highest industry standards using Tekla Structures.

You are a motivated and driven individual with a solid engineering background, and a desire to share your experience and talent to achieve the best outcomes for the team. You are methodical and thorough with attention to detail. You possess good communication and collaboration skills.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years' experience on Australian mining & industrial projects

Modelling of structural, mechanical and platework models and drawings

Good knowledge of Australian standards and fabrication principals

Good computer skills and highly proficient with Tekla

Remuneration:

$95,000 - $105,000

Qualifications:

Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Structural/Mechanical Engineering Drafting. Equivalent Experience/ Traineeship acceptable.
