Overview

We are seeking a professional and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to be part of our Real Estate Management Services team. You will provide strategic support to key clients by coordinating routine inspection reports for residential, commercial and industrial properties and liaising with Facility Managers on issues at leased and owned sites for rectification. This role represents a unique opportunity to join a leading global real estate firm, with exposure to a growing Real Estate Management Services team, offering growth and development opportunities. Based in Brisbane CBD, it may lead to future career progression as a Facilities Manager for the right candidate with drive and ambition.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with Real Estate Agents to ensure compliance requirements for all leased residential properties.
  • Organising Routine Inspections with Agents throughout Queensland.
  • Collate property documentation required for the client and provide recommendations.
  • Carrying out Property Inspections on Owned and Leased commercial sites and providing the client with an itemised report and recommendations.
  • Attending site to meet with Contractors on behalf of the client.
  • Ensure copies of all reports, correspondence and other outgoing documentation are kept on file.
  • Assisting in maintaining the building information documents, plans, and guides.
  • Assisting in all areas of risk to ensure that both Colliers and its clients are effectively mitigated.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional organisation skills, ability to deal with several matters and work to deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good financial & IT literacy, an understanding of budgeting processes
  • An understanding of basic building services including the desire to learn
  • An ability to read and comprehend technical and legislative documents
  • An ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to deliver a single outcome
