JCS Home & Community Support (JCS) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to providing quality in-home and community support services to frail and older individuals over the age of 65 residing in metropolitan Adelaide. Established in 1994, JCS originally served South Australia's Jewish Community but has since expanded its services to support a diverse range of individuals. JCS is known for offering respectful, unique, and high-quality care that meets the needs of its ageing community. Our team is proud of the strong reputation we have built as a trusted boutique aged care provider in Adelaide.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist & Clinical Care Partner located in Adelaide, SA. The Occupational Therapist & Clinical Care Partner will provide comprehensive support and therapeutic services to clients, focusing on rehabilitation and improving daily living skills. Responsibilities include assessing individual client needs, developing personalized care plans, collaborating with medical professionals, providing therapy sessions, and monitoring client progress. Other tasks may involve supporting pediatric clients and ensuring effective communication with clients and their families.

Qualifications

  • Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills
  • Medical knowledge and experience in clinical settings
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively on-site and in a collaborative team environment
  • A passion for providing high-quality care to elderly and diverse populations
