Care Services Employee

We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

As a Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, personal care needs (including personal hygiene) and attending to the daily running of the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent's Care Services Yennora.

St Vincent's Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village) is a 141-bed facility located approximately 29km from Sydney's CBD.

This is a Casual opportunity with night shifts.

Things that work for us:

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential

• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded

• Must be available to work nights shifts.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records

• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan

• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
