Your Position :

If you enjoy working on outdoor activities, taking pride in maintaining high standards of public parks and open spaces, and enjoy being part of a team, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
  • Conducting scheduled daily and weekly work programs for Parks and Open Space
  • Mowing, edging, pruning, planting of trees/shrubs, sports field maintenance, pesticide application, weeding, tree maintenance, and other general maintenance works
  • Operating plant and equipment including chipper, ride-on mowers, excavator, and medium rigid vehicles
  • Reporting all vehicle/plant problems to your team leader or mechanics staff
To be successful in this role you will have :
  • Current NSW Class MR Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Traffic Controllers Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • AQF3 Chemical Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in operating ride-on mowers and other small plant (e.g., brushcutters, push mowers, edgers, blowers)
