* Part-time (10%), fixed-term position through to end of March 2030* Base salary will be in the range $93,491.78 - $100,296.98 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6)* Based at our# **About This Opportunity**We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Consumer Research Program Coordinator to support clinical research projects and trials led by the Infection Prevention and Vascular Access team. Reporting to Professor Claire Rickard, you will assist with project setup, ethics and governance coordination, co-chair the consumer advisory group, manage data, and report progress to Chief Investigators.In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, consumers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure research projects are implemented effectively and efficiently.Key responsibilities will include:* **Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration** – Build and maintain relationships with consumers and key stakeholders, participate in meetings, and support effective delivery of intervention trials across multiple sites.* **Participant Recruitment & Data Management** – Promote participant recruitment and engagement, maintain systematic participant records, and manage project-specific databases including data collection, cleaning, and reporting.* **Research Reporting & Communication** – Prepare and provide data for research outcomes, including abstracts, posters, presentations, publications, and regular progress updates for committees and project teams.* **Project Oversight & Consumer Support** – Assist consumer representatives in implementing engagement and intervention activities, monitor project progress, ethical compliance, and potential issues, and support frameworks for multi-site trial coordination.# **About The Infection Prevention and Vascular Access Group**We work with healthcare clinicians and consumers to generate and use evidence for clinical practices that prevent and detect infection across clinical specialties. A particular focus is on the prevention of infections in invasive medical devices such as IV therapy catheters which cause one-third of all healthcare associated bloodstream infections.
