The Role:

We are seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to work at one of our key education sites in Parkville, just a 20-minute drive from Melbourne CBD.

Job Description

Roster: Various hours, Monday to Sunday (including some evenings and weekends)

What This Role Involves:
  • Assisting with food preparation (e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches and salads)
  • Providing friendly customer service
  • Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
  • Assisting with preparation and service of functions and conferences
  • Maintaining food hygiene, security and safety practices

Desired Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Some cooking experience is a plus, but not essential
  • A cheerful attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated
