Overview

Full Time Control Room Operator position available in the Northern Suburbs.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Monitor, operate and review CCTV system.
  • Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and write accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities and visitor logs.
  • Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Operate a two way radio communication network for security personnel and manage the deployment of security personnel.
  • Access control to personnel, employees and visitors.
  • Take part in ongoing training programs and exercises.
Key Selection Criteria
  • Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement.
  • Have strong administrative skills, computer competency and excellent email etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels.
  • Knowledge across software such as Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Valid Driver's licence with transport.
  • Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.
Rostered Hours

12 hour rotating roster (days and nights).
