We currently have a 2IC role available in IvanhoeVIC 3079.

The 2IC role:

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Your role will include:

• Program Magic: Assist in designing and delivering exciting, enriching activities that reflect the interests of the children in your program.
• Stay Compliant: Help ensure the program meets all industry regulations and standards.
• Parent Champion: Interact with parents and assist with their inquiries to provide outstanding support.
• Community Connector: Represent TeamKids within the school community by attending events, assemblies, and more when the Director is unavailable.
• Bring the Fun: Play, engage, and have a blast with primary school-aged kids.
• Holiday Hero: Co-manage or coordinate activities during the school holiday program.

Required Hours:

This is an After School Care only role
After School Care: 2:45pm - 6:00pm
Total Hours: 16.25

The successful candidate:

• Passionate about working with kids, full of energy, and eager to have fun
• A strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally has previous experience in Before and After School Care or education, but we can provide training
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Seeking stable, permanent part-time hours.
• Qualified or studying towards a Diploma in early childhood education.
