The roleHelping elderly people stay independent in their own homes in the Inner West Newcastle area including Maryville, Hamilton, New Hampton and Fishing Point. Duties include general home cleaning along with other activities such as changing bed linen, washing clothes and dishes, etc.
Role type: Part-time
Responsibilities- Provide cleaning and domestic assistance to clients in their homes
- Assist with tasks such as changing bed linen, washing clothes and dishes
- Support clients to stay independent and comfortable in their own homes
- Passionate about helping the elderly
- Well organised and punctual
- Good people skills and ability to engage tactfully with clients
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and own vehicle
- Current police check
- Full working rights to be considered
- Regular roster assisting the same elderly clients and built around your availability
- New equipment and polo shirts supplied
- Career progression within a company that is growing quickly
- Part of a positive and energetic team
- Rate: $30.85 per hour + super & allowances
- After 3 months the hourly rate increases to $32.74
- Vehicle travel between jobs paid at $0.99 per km
