Key duties:

  • Develop age-appropriate and engaging curriculum plans that align with the Victorian Curriculum for Spanish LOTE, Secondary levels.
  • Deliver effective and interactive Spanish language instruction, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, and language structures.
  • Introduce aspects of Spanish culture into lessons through age-appropriate activities, stories, and projects to foster cultural awareness.
  • Design assessments to evaluate students' language acquisition and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate Spanish LOTE language and culture into broader educational themes and projects.

Skills & Experience:

  • Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Current VIT registration is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching secondary Spanish LOTE in Australia within a Primary/Secondary school setting.
  • Ability to provide two education-based references from the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
