About St Bede's Primary School

St Bede's is a vibrant Catholic co-educational primary school for students from K-6, nestled in the picturesque suburb of Red Hill in Canberra. About The Role

As a clerical and office member, this role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including front office and reception duties, management of the school's social media presence, website updates, and broader marketing initiatives to enhance the school's public profile. The position involves key aspects of the school's secretarial and financial administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, compliance, and record-keeping. Additionally, the role provides support to senior staff and school committees through effective communication, scheduling, and documentation. Success in this role requires administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Relevant Diploma or Cert IV with relevant work experience
  • First Aid Certificate

Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.
