Parts interpreter

Daimler Trucks Laverton are seeking a service driven and collaborative Parts Interpreter to join our team
As the face of our department, you will be responsible for responding to customer enquiries face to face and over the phone, interpreting and identifying light and heavy commercial vehicle parts, processing orders and transactions, and coordinating the delivery of parts with suppliers.
This role is well suited to an experienced Parts Interpreter from the automotive industry who has experience in utilising catalogues and can deliver high quality and efficient experience to our internal customers.
Responsibilities- Provide timely and expert parts advice to customers face to face and over the phone
- Accurately interpret all parts manuals and catalogues
- Process orders, handle transactions and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Actively collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the parts departments
- Continuously maintain current knowledge of parts inventory and availability
- Competitive salary based on your experience

- Full-time role | Monday to Friday, 10.00am–6:00pm + rotating Saturdays

- Demonstrated experience as a Parts Interpreter within the automotive or heavy equipment industries
- Experience with Japanese, American or European trucks will be highly regarded
