Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative at AutogenAI, you will be at the forefront of our growth in Australia, working with industry leaders in AI innovation. You will be responsible for driving lead generation, engaging with high-level executives, and creating excitement about AutogenAI's groundbreaking solutions. You will work alongside a supportive and ambitious team, have direct access to senior leaders, and receive ongoing mentorship to fast-track your professional development in AI sales.

- Generating new business leads: Proactively identify and qualify leads using cutting-edge sales tools, contributing directly to our growth and success.
- Prospecting & researching: Develop a deep understanding of potential clients and industries, building relationships with key decision makers.
- Collaborative strategy: Partner with senior sales team members to refine communication strategies and develop best practices that drive successful outreach.
- Innovating & experimenting: Contribute ideas and strategies to improve the sales development process, ensuring we stay ahead in the market.
- Relationship building: Nurture leads from first contact to qualified opportunity, playing an essential role in their journey with AutogenAI.
- Industry representation: Represent AutogenAI at networking events, conferences, tradeshows and industry gatherings, enhancing your own professional network and our brand presence.
- Market intelligence: Gather insights on trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, helping to shape our sales approach.
- Reporting and analysis: Track and analyse your outreach campaigns, sharing insights and contributing to team-wide improvements.
- Exceptional communication skills: Articulate, persuasive, and able to convey complex ideas with clarity and confidence.
- Driven & goal-oriented mindset: A passion for setting and exceeding ambitious targets, with a competitive spirit that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn: An eagerness to understand AI technology and the Saas industry, staying ahead of the latest trends and best practices.
- Adaptability and resilience: Comfort with navigating ambiguity, adapting to change, and embracing challenges as opportunities to grow.
- Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others, contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing and mutual success.
- Sales enthusiasm: A genuine desire to pursue a career in sales, with a willingness to spend the majority of your time engaging with clients over the phone and via virtual meetings.
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher, with a demonstrated interest in technology, business or communication.
- Self-starter attitude: The confidence to work autonomously, combined with the initiative to seek out new opportunities and solutions.
- Passion for AI: A strong interest in technology and Agentic AI, with a desire to be a part of a rapidly evolving industry.
- Experience in bid/grant/proposal writing.
- Experience with sales tools such as Zoominfo, Lusha, Cognism, Salesloft & HubSpot.
- At least 12 months outbound sales experience.
- Academic excellence and a bachelor's degree (or higher) from a recognised institution.
- Competitive Salary: $105,000 OTE ($70k base / $35k bonus), including monthly bonus for on target earnings, with uncapped earning potential as you grow and succeed.
