Overview

As Executive Officer to the Deputy Secretary, you will provide high-level executive and operational support in a fast-paced, often changing environment. You will play a key role in enabling strategic leadership, coordinating priorities, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Deputy Secretary's office and the broader portfolio. This role requires excellent judgement, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing complex administrative processes.

This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it.

Responsibilities
  • As Executive Officer to the Deputy Secretary, provide high-level executive and operational support in a fast-paced, often changing environment; enable strategic leadership; coordinate priorities; and ensure the smooth operation of the Deputy Secretary's office and broader portfolio.
  • Support the department's goals to ensure every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.
