IT Service Desk Technician (L2)

  • Salary: $90,000 + super
  • Location: Sydney (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

Join a dynamic support team delivering Level 2 IT support to a broad client base. You'll provide remote and onsite support, resolve technical issues, and work closely with senior engineers to ensure a high standard of service delivery. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with strong client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage support tickets via phone and ticketing systems.
  • Provide Level 1/2 remote and onsite support for desktops, servers, and infrastructure.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows OS, mobile devices (iOS/Android).
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and urgent onsite visits as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on escalations and projects.
  • Maintain clear documentation and update internal knowledgebase.
  • Participate in rotating rosters, including after-hours support.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and industry standards.

Skills & Experience

  • IT qualifications or relevant certifications.
  • Strong experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
  • Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs).
  • Experience with Windows Server, virtualisation (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Familiarity with switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
