Partnering with a respected, values-led organisation delivering high-quality Aged Care and NDIS services to recruit a Lead Finance role with Purpose in Aged Care and Disability Services.

Located in the Bankstown region, this is a rare opportunity to lead finance strategy in a role that underpins sustainable, person-centred services across Aged Care and Disability programs.

Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Team, you'll lead end-to-end financial operations and reporting across multiple funding streams. This role combines hands on financial management with strategic influence and offers a supportive, down-to-earth team culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and shared purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial compliance.
  • Deliver accurate month-end and board-ready financial reports and rolling forecasts.
  • Lead CHSP, HCP, and NDIS acquittals and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Streamline financial systems and implement process improvements.
  • Support grant submissions with modelling, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Advise leadership on pricing, cost control, and financial risk mitigation.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance leadership or senior accountant role.
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care, NDIS, or other government-funded care models.
  • Skilled in Xero (or similar), Excel, and cashflow management.
  • CPA or CA qualified (or working towards) highly desirable.
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate financials for non-finance stakeholders.
