Position: Personal Carer | BlueCare | Community Care

Employment Status: Permanent Part Time

Location: Redcliffe & Surrounding Areas

Remuneration: $34.30 p/hr + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

About the Role

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

  • Spending time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, supporting daily activities
  • In-home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
  • Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plans
  • Supporting with community-based recreational and social activities
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
Role Requirements
  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification – Essential
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential
  • Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
  • Ability to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
