Continuous Improvement Project Specialist

We are seeking a CI / Operational Excellence Project Specialist at our Perth location. This role involves partnering with teams to identify, lead, and deliver Lean Transformation projects to foster growth, improve customer experience, enhance productivity, and eliminate waste.

The role includes:
  1. Collaborating across teams to identify problems and implement solutions.
  2. Leading root cause analysis and assessing countermeasures.
  3. Managing project plans to meet deadlines, quality, and scope.
  4. Supporting Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work.
  5. Managing CI workshops, training, and coaching to embed a CI mindset.
  6. Delivering measurable benefits through CI initiatives, including cost savings and performance improvements.
  7. Communicating success stories and updates related to CI.
  8. Maintaining CI savings reports and liaising with global and growth markets.
  9. Keeping stakeholders informed and maintaining relationships.
  10. Analyzing data for insights and continuous improvement trends.
  11. Supporting broader initiatives including safety, environmental efforts, and special projects.
About you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in Engineering, Service, Rental, or Operations environments (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, process mapping, and change management skills.
  • Proven track record in implementing Lean / Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Innovative mindset focused on delivering measurable improvements.
