Overview

About the role

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests whilst promoting Canterbury's values.
  • Efficiently take orders, upselling products, assisting in meal and beverage preparation, and ensuring quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of all service areas, handling payment transactions accurately, and delivering accurate, friendly and efficient service.
  • Assisting with patron enquiries/requests and providing accurate Club information.
Where you'll work

You will have the opportunity to work across outlets including The Bistro, Bakehouse Café, The Flame Restaurant (A La Carte), Bulldogs Sports Bar, The Atrium Bar, Canterbury's newest function spaces and Bartega cocktail bar.

Qualifications and skills
  • Current NSW RSA & RCG Competency Card (essential)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional grooming and presentation
  • Flexibility to work a rotating 24 hours, 7-day roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
