We have an exciting opportunity for a Growth Geologist to join our team at Kalgoorlie Operations. You will apply your analytical and technical skills to interpret geological data, recognize key features, and contribute to our innovative geology projects. This role offers a dynamic and fulfilling environment that encourages continuous growth and achievement. The position, based in Kalgoorlie, follows a family-friendly 8:6 roster with 12-hour days, ensuring you can be home every night

Here's what awaits you :

  • Utilize your analytical and technical expertise to accurately assess and interpret geological data from core samples.
  • Supervise drilling contractors and provide guidance to maximize project efficiency and discovery.
  • Manage geological data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of drilling results, core logging, and laboratory analysis.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of geology, rock types, and mineralogy.
  • Analyze and interpret geological data using advanced software and tools.
  • Communicate effectively within a team and collaborate with diverse backgrounds and disciplines.

To thrive in this role, you'll need :

  • A tertiary qualification in geology.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a geologist in the resource industry.
  • Experience with mining and geology software such as Datamine, Leapfrog, and Acquire.
  • Ability to work well in a team, including contractor management.
  • Residency in the Goldfields region or willingness to relocate.
  • Current Western Australian "C" Class Manual Drivers Licence.
