Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Town Clerk, located in Ellendale, DE. The Town Clerk will be responsible for managing and overseeing municipal elections, maintaining and organizing town records, and ensuring compliance with local government regulations. Day-to-day tasks include attending town meetings, preparing and distributing agendas and minutes, processing permits and licenses, and handling public inquiries and communication. The Town Clerk will work closely with other municipal departments and officials to support efficient public administration.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing Elections and Records Management
- Knowledge of Local Government and Public Administration
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with standard office software and records management systems
- Experience in a municipal or local government setting is a plus
