The Opportunity:

We have multiple opportunities across the Sunshine Coast Region (covering the areas from Noosa to the Glass House Mountains, and inland to Gympie & Hinterland). Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve encouraging positive choices, fostering independence, and supporting the overall well-being of your clients.

We are currently looking for support workers with a minimum of 2 years experience including personal care and hoisting. Ideal candidates will possess a strong desire to support individuals with disabilities and will be committed to upholding our organisation's values. We are seeking individuals who are adaptable, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference.

Requirements:

  • +2 Years Experience in Disability Support or Aged Care
  • Personal Care Experience
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Yellow Card
  • Working with Children card (Blue Card)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Certificate

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $37.08 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $41.53 per hour
  • Saturday - $51.92 per hour
  • Sunday - $66.75 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $81.59 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift
