About the role

This role requires a motivated professional who will excel in a fast paced, high attention to detail Hotel environment. To be successful in your application you must have a 'team first' attitude, coupled with the desire and passion to succeed in this challenging industry.

We are after a fun loving, dedicated professional who would embrace the opportunity to work for Australia's leading designer hotel brand.

The Purchasing Officer works beside the Purchasing manager and Stores person. This person needs the appropriate skills and experience from a similar industry, ordering and receiving goods environment. Previous stores experience within a hotel environment will be advantageous

Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for maintaining standards within loading dock and stores operations

Skills & experience

The candidate will have strong all round experience in

• Customer relations
• Food hygiene
• Food and beverage product knowledge
• Communication

Will be advantageous to have the following experience

• Ordering large volumes of Food and Beverages
• Ensure that invoices are received for goods purchased
• Organise and perform monthly stock takes
• Perform analysis and compare against usage.
• Accepting and checking deliveries
• Organising and delivering internal requisitions.
