Working as a Speech Pathologist with Early Start Australia you will be part of a knowledgeable and dedicated transdisciplinary clinical team that provides evidence-based assessment and therapy to a mixed paediatric caseload. You will deliver direct support to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities through tailored therapy programs, Early Childhood Early Intervention or delivering the Early Start Denver Model. Treatments are delivered in our clinics, at client homes, schools and via telehealth, with collaboration with families to help each child reach their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to a mixed paediatric caseload.
  • Deliver treatments in clinics, at client homes, schools and via telehealth.
  • Work closely with families to support each child's development and goal attainment.
  • Contribute to a transdisciplinary clinical team and support program delivery including Early Start Denver Model.
  • Be supported by a dedicated administration team to maximise time with clients.

What you'll bring
  • A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help clients achieve their goals and participate meaningfully in their communities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA Registration.
  • Exceptional communication skills to work in culturally diverse environments and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Passion for making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families.
  • Experience with children and adolescents and confidence working closely with their families is valued.
  • Compliance requirements – SPA Registration; Working with Children Check; National Police Check; NDIS Worker Screening Check; First Aid; Driver's Licence & Vehicle.
