We are seeking an experienced and motivated State Manager & Business Development Lead for our WA operations. This dual-role position combines strategic business development responsibilities with state management duties. As the sole Toshiba representative in WA, you will manage all business development and operational activities for the region, attending management meetings and supporting forecasting and planning, while operating without direct reports. You will spearhead our growth in WA and ensure the RLC division continues to expand profitably.

Key Role Summary

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
• Provide the company with market insights, identifying business threats and opportunities.
• Implement company strategies to meet business goals and expand market share.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and contractors, ensuring product selection aligns with their needs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales and marketing strategies.
• Lead product training initiatives across the distribution channel
• Provide key insights to help with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for the WA region.
• Attend and represent the company at industry events, forums, and meetings.
• Monitor and track market data, providing feedback and recommendations for competitive strategies.
• Ensure a seamless pre- and post-sales process, including quotes, project designs, and customer support.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in sales and business development within a technical or industrial product sector (HVAC, building services, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of the WA market and established relationships with commercial contractors and consultants.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market data and take decisive actions.
• Strong presentation and trainer abilities for product leadership.
