What is the role?

Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for retail? We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to join our team at Toowoomba store and take charge. In this pivotal role, you'll drive sales, lead and develop a high-performing team aligned to our core values, and create a memorable customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively and attentively take ownership of overall store performance
• Drive sales, profit, and control costs to ensure the achievement of KPIs
• Ensure a customer-centric culture, resulting in a warm, helpful, and exceptional customer experience
• Provide inspirational leadership and training to develop the team to deliver outstanding results
• Lead, coach and develop the retail sales team to achieve targets and build a high-performing team
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize both sales and customer service targets thereby driving store performance
• Be a product knowledge expert and live our values
• Adhere to all company behaviours, policies, and procedures
• Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe work environment adhering to OH&S principles

Skills and Experiences

Who are we looking for?

With a strong retail background, commercial acumen and passion for customer service, you thrive in a team environment and know how to bring out the best in people. You bring energy, resilience and a hands-on approach to everything you do - and you are ready to take the next step into retail leadership

• 3-5+ years retail management experience
• Your drive and innate passion about providing a customer experience that is second to none
• A reputation for a collaborative and approachable style and ability to deliver results
• Demonstrated experience leading and coaching teams
• Ability to manage budgets, drive KPIs, ensure compliance, interpret/create reporting, and generate efficient and compliant rosters
• Honesty, integrity, and open communication
• A work ethic that is uncompromised, commitment to adding value and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
• As this is a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of daily duties.
