Job Description

The role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Casual Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Bangalow, a small facility serving 59 residents.

The location offers on-site parking.

Roster: Various days and hours

Role

What this role involves:
  • Basic kitchen duties, including sandwich and salad preparation
  • Plating meals and desserts
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents
  • Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
  • Prepare and present texture modified foods

Desired Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
  • Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
